Oscar functions as vice presidential bodyguard and is built low to the ground for stealth. The barking and jingling dog tags interfere a bit with the stealth. Oscar spends most of the day in his bed on top of the vice president’s desk. His secondary duties include cuddling, peeing without warning, and halitosis. A rescue dog who has earned a little slack, Oscar has been an office fixture since 2010, and when we say fixture, we mean he rarely leaves that bed. Besides sleeping, Oscar enjoys playing with plastic bowls and begging for treats.
